How to Prepare for Your Junk Removal Appointment

You don't need to do much to prepare for a junk removal pickup — that's most of the point of hiring it out. But a little prep goes a long way toward a fast, accurate, no-surprises appointment.

Before the crew arrives

• Group items together if you can. If everything is in one spot — garage, driveway, curb — the crew can assess and load faster than if items are scattered through the house.
• Clear a path. Make sure there's a clear walkway from the items to the truck, especially if anything is bulky or heavy.
• Double-check what's staying. Set aside anything you're keeping so there's no confusion about what gets loaded.
• Note anything unusual. If an item is unusually heavy, disassembled, or in an awkward spot, mention it when you book — it helps us bring the right crew size.

During the appointment

We'll do a quick walkthrough of what you want removed, confirm the price, and get started. You're welcome to point out anything you're unsure about — better to ask before we start loading than after.

You don't need to be present the whole time

Once the items and price are confirmed, you don't need to supervise the entire job. Just make sure someone's available to sign off at the start and end, or to grant access if you can't be there in person — we're glad to work with you on that.
